Personal recommendations from Kwak.kamoly added 25 September 2026. Dates, fares and operating details retain the check dates stated in their sections.

The 2026 Busan International Rock Festival runs 2–4 October at Samnak Ecological Park. If the music is your main reason to visit, choose your day from the official line-up before booking accommodation: this riverside venue is in western Busan, well away from the Haeundae beach hotel cluster. A closer look at the live atmosphere
From the stage-side views to the sunset crowd, these recent festival photographs show the scale and atmosphere of the outdoor setting. They document previous editions; the performers pictured are not presented as confirmation of a 2026 appearance.

Tickets: regular prices and international booking
| Pass | Published regular price |
|---|---|
| 1 day | ₩120,000 |
| 2 days | ₩193,000 |
| 3 days | ₩266,000 |
These are the regular ticket prices in the organiser’s ticket notice, not expired early-bird prices. Availability, service charges and partner package contents may differ. Start with the official Global Ticket page for overseas-facing sales links, including YES24, Klook and KKday.
Check exactly which dates a two-day pass covers, the purchaser-name and identification requirements, and refund conditions on the seller’s checkout page. A listing being online does not guarantee that your preferred ticket remains available. We have not purchased a ticket to test every foreign payment method.
How to book Busan Rock Festival tickets from overseas
The organiser’s Global Ticket page links to four booking channels, checked on 23 September 2026:
- YES24 English ticket page
- Klook festival listing
- KKday foreign-visitor listing
- Trip.com listing — the organiser’s link opens the Hong Kong/Traditional Chinese version.
These are ordinary source links, not affiliate links. Compare your chosen dates, pass duration, total checkout price and any transport inclusion. The presence of a listing does not confirm remaining tickets.
KKday: eligibility and entry procedure
KKday labels this product for foreign nationals; Korean nationals are ineligible. Book using the actual visitor’s name: the listing says names cannot be changed afterwards. It allows up to four tickets per purchaser.
After payment, check your registered email for the voucher. At the venue, take the voucher and ID to the KKday booth for identity verification and wristband exchange. Keep the wristband intact: the listing says lost or damaged bands are not replaced. Do not assume the voucher alone lets you bypass collection.
Its headline says no cancellation, while the detailed notes mention an exception on the purchase date. Confirm the applicable deadline with KKday before paying; do not rely on a flexible refund. These conditions apply to this KKday product, not automatically to the other sellers.
Not verified: live inventory, each seller’s final price, overseas-card acceptance and the other sellers’ collection/refund rules. Read the selected product’s current terms before purchase.
Before you go: timetable, venue map and luggage storage
Practical notices checked on 23 September 2026. The daily artist lists above were checked separately on 16 September.
Open the official timetable and choose your priority sets before deciding on meal breaks and your return journey. We have not transcribed individual set times here. Allow time to move between stages rather than treating consecutive performances as a guaranteed connection.
The organiser published a venue guide-map notice on 23 September. Use the current map to identify the entrance and your meeting point before travelling; a general park map pin is not the festival gate. The notice contains an inconsistent English reference to 2025 alongside its 2026 heading and dates, so check the year on the map itself before relying on a saved copy.
Luggage storage: hours and prices
- Published hours: 2–4 October, 09:00–23:00 each day.
- Regular bag: ₩6,000; large luggage: ₩10,000; re-storage: ₩3,000.
- Items that do not fit in the supplied storage bag, including larger duffel bags and suitcases, count as large luggage.
- The organiser lists card, cash and bank transfer. Acceptance of a particular overseas card has not been verified.
Collect your belongings before closing and allow time for collection before your return transport. Official luggage-storage notice.
Bu-long Night: an optional late-night programme
The organiser advertises Bu-long Night for 2–4 October, 23:00–02:00, at KT&G Sangsang Madang Busan and CATs Sasang Indie Station. These are separate city venues, not an extension of the Samnak stage area; check your chosen date and venue programme before travelling.
Tickets are sold on site: ₩15,000 regular admission, or ₩10,000 for festival attendees showing a wristband or booking confirmation. Entry is first come, first served and may close when capacity is reached. The notice specifies ages 19+ with photo ID. Admission is not guaranteed by having a main-festival ticket. Official Bu-long Night programme and admission rules.
Plan a separate late-night journey home. Do not assume a festival shuttle serves these venues or that the metro will still be running when the programme ends.
Save a return plan and a backup
Before entering, save your shuttle booking, pickup instructions and hotel address in Korean. Check the official k.ride shuttle information against the actual reservation screen. Shuttle availability, exact departures, overseas payment success and metro last-train times have not been verified for this update.
If you miss your planned departure, check current transport options and taxi pickup instructions with event staff. Keep enough phone battery and budget for a different journey; do not rely on immediate taxi availability after the headline set. If the weather worsens, follow organiser notices rather than assuming a cancellation or refund.
Getting to Samnak: shuttle or Sasang base
Search for 삼락생태공원, then check the festival’s actual entrance against the organiser’s current venue map. The park is large, so a general park pin is not the same as the ticket gate. Samnak Ecological Park map search.
Sasang is a useful transport base on Metro Line 2 and the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail line. From Gimhae Airport, plan the light-rail journey to Sasang and then the final park connection. Check a live route for the last leg; avoid assuming the festival gate is beside the station exit.
The organiser advertises an international-visitor shuttle through the k.ride app, with round-trip shuttle and shuttle-plus-ticket options. Seats are limited; check pickup point, departure time, return arrangements and the exact package price in the app. Official international shuttle notice.
Save your return plan before entering. A taxi after the last major act may involve a queue, and a published performance day does not tell you when the last metro leaves. If using a shuttle, prioritise its pickup instructions over a generic navigation pin.
Where to eat before the music
Ibagu Gukbap (이바구국밥) is the Sasang-gu business included in Busan’s citizen-recommended 20. It is a candidate for a separate pre-festival meal, not a confirmed on-site food vendor. Its current price and exact journey from the gate have not been verified, so check the branch listing before committing. Menu and restaurant photos · Map search.
For a simpler plan, eat around your Sasang transport or hotel base before heading to the park. Verify the festival’s outside-food and re-entry rules instead of assuming you can leave for dinner and return. On-site vendor menus and prices were not confirmed for this guide.
Food between the sets: recent festival photos
There is more to a festival day than the stage. These photographs show takeaway meals, snacks and drinks enjoyed around the grounds at recent editions. Use them as a feel for the experience, not as a confirmed 2026 menu: vendors, portions, prices and permitted seating or picnic equipment can change.

Recent previous-edition photograph supplied by Kwak.kamoly; taken within the past 1–2 years according to the contributor. Not a photograph of the 2026 event. Existing source watermarks are retained; watermarked images identify blog.naver.com/supernova7. Supply credit does not identify the contributor as the original photographer.
Plan your food break: allow time between the acts you most want to see, check the current vendor boards for menus and prices, and confirm dietary ingredients with the stall. Do not rely on a photograph to establish allergens or vegetarian suitability.
Where to stay: Sasang or Seomyeon?
Sasang: our location-first choice for a music-led weekend and an airport connection. Hotel Paragon, at 46 Gwangjang-ro, is one local accommodation candidate to compare; room quality, availability and rates have not been personally checked. Hotel listing · Location map.
Seomyeon: consider it if the festival is only part of a broader city trip. Haeundae: choose it for beach priorities only after checking the return journey from Samnak. Compare the full cost of the room and transport, not the nightly rate alone.

Practical tips for an outdoor festival day
Check the weather before you check your outfit. Samnak can feel exposed to the wind, and rain can make a long outdoor evening much colder than you expected. I’d bring a light rain layer, something warmer for later and shoes I can stand in for hours. The forecast matters more than an autumn packing stereotype.
I’d sort out the journey home before arriving. This isn’t a venue where I would assume a convenient late-night connection will appear when the last set ends. Check the organiser’s current shuttle stops, departure times and whether a separate reservation is needed, then save a backup.
And leave yourself some energy. A rock festival is a long day on your feet, not just the three minutes of your favourite song. Eat, drink water and take breaks between the sets that matter most to you. Tomorrow-you will appreciate it.
Wear shoes suitable for prolonged standing and possible damp ground. Bring a weather-appropriate layer, hearing protection and a charged phone. Check the current rules for bags, umbrellas, water bottles and photography before packing. Agree a meeting point with friends in case mobile reception is busy.
A short riverside walk can fit before admission if time and weather allow. Avoid adding a cross-city sightseeing appointment just before your favourite act. The Starry Night Busan Night Market is at Hwamyeong, not Samnak: it should not be treated as the rock festival’s food zone.
For genuine event imagery, use the organiser’s official photo gallery and current line-up page. The supplied photographs show recent previous editions, while the organiser photograph is labelled 2025. They illustrate the setting and audience atmosphere, not the confirmed 2026 stage layout, food menu or running order.
Airport shuttles, local offers and new bands: more ways to plan your festival trip
The following travel initiatives were announced in Busan Metropolitan City’s 7 September 2026 blog update, supplied to us as screenshots. They describe announced services, not a live check of seats or offers. Read the city announcement in Korean.
Coming from Gimhae Airport or Busan Station?
The city announced book-ahead round-trip festival shuttles from Gimhae International Airport and Busan Station through Klook, with guide support. This is a different journey from the Seoul-area round-trip bus and ticket packages announced through k.ride. Select the product matching your actual arrival point; do not assume every shuttle serves the airport, station and your hotel.
Start with the organiser’s international ticket links. Before paying, check the operating date, exact meeting point, departure and return times, luggage allowance, guide language, ticket inclusion and cancellation conditions. Current fares, available seats and flight-delay arrangements have not been independently verified. Allow a buffer after landing or arriving by train; if your arrival does not fit the departure, compare a separate journey via Sasang rather than relying on an unconfirmed connection.
Compare a festival ticket with a tourism package
The city named Klook, KKday and Trip.com as platforms for festival-and-tourism products. Compare the itemised inclusions with a standalone ticket before booking. A package may suit a first visit, but only if its dates and activities fit the performances you want to see. Platform participation does not establish current availability or guarantee that a package is cheaper.
KakaoMap venue guidance and Sasang restaurant offers
The city announced mobile-map guidance through KakaoMap for stages, toilets, food booths and nearby Sasang dining, alongside offers at participating local businesses. Use this with the organiser’s venue map and save a meeting point before the grounds become busy.
No current participating-restaurant list, discount amount or redemption conditions have been verified for this guide. Ask before ordering whether the offer is active and what proof is required; do not assume every restaurant in Sasang offers a festival discount. Keep a normal-price meal option in your plan.
Discover Korean indie acts at Rookies on the BU-ROCK
Leave a gap between headline sets for emerging artists. The organiser’s Rookies page confirms appearances by all 15 finalists: the top 10 compete, while places 11–15 give special performances, with an awards ceremony also planned. Match the act and stage to the current timetable.
The city’s earlier announcement described free viewing at the Hidden Stage. We have not verified the access boundary or whether a main-festival ticket is needed to reach that area, so do not treat this as free admission to the entire festival. Bu-long Night is a separate late-night programme with its own admission rules, described above.
A practical first-visit plan
Before the festival: arrive with time to spare, leave large luggage at your accommodation or check the storage service, and eat near your transport base. At the festival: choose two priority acts, add a Rookies performance if it fits, and leave room for food and rest. Afterwards: take your booked return connection, or attend Bu-long Night only with a separate journey home already planned.
